Law of attraction – Positivity

Hello everyone,

I have been since more than 4 years now using the law of attraction. Without for most of that time being aware that it was actually a known thing. I started to believe that if I wanted for some things to happen I should visualise them, on a time scale. And I should focus on the positive to make things happen.

Example – London

For example before moving to London, I was in my countryside of France, in bed after a surgery and I was saying to my parents that in a few weeks I would have been in London. They didn’t believe that it was possible. But I did it. I pictured myself living and working in London in two weeks of time, and I convinced myself that it was going to happen.

And so it did. I had the goal, so I worked to reach it. I took a flight for one day to do two jobs interviews in London. The next day I came home with two job offers! And a week after I was in London. I had started my first job, was staying at a friend and I was happy that I succeed and prove everyone wrong. Because lot of people try to stop me, saying that it would be too complicated, that the London life was too expansive, … I did it because in my mind it couldn’t be differently.

Example – Job

And same happened when I got my job at Lipsy. I pictured myself in their office after my first interview there, called my parents and told them that soon enough I would be working there. For me there was no other way, I was in such a bad situation with my previous job that I had no other choice then get that job. And so I got it. So I strongly believe that if you know what you want, if you picture it like it already happen, if you don’t let space for a plan B, your plan A will succeed.

The state of mind

I have since been watching a lot of Ted Talks, videos about the law of attraction and the power of imagination and it makes perfect sense to me. I also noticed with the people around me, that positive people are more successful. Positivity attract positivity. People who are stuck into negatives thought can’t move forward. If you start a project thinking that it might fail, then there’s already no point for you to keep going. You need to believe that you can do it. Optimism is the key. Don’t focus on what could go wrong, focus of the benefits you will get if it works.

A simple state of mind can make all the difference. It’s proven that successful people use their energy in a positive way, for example instead of going through their working day complaining, they will see the day as a challenge, a day of possible improvement.

Relationships

It’s also a thing in relationship, if you start noticing the imperfections of someone, than you see them more, you obsessed about the things that others do that annoys you. And from the moment you have decided that you couldn’t deal with it anymore, you’re stuck. You don’t seem to be able to see the positive. But it’s all happening in your mind. You’re the one who choose to see the negative. If instead of telling the person about all the things she does, that annoys you, and you just tell her about the great thing she has done in the day, you will notice that her behavior will change positively, and so will yours.

Examples of how to be more positive.

  • Don’t be upset about things that are not going well in your week. Instead focus on the good things and be grateful for them.
  • If you’re not happy with your situation, what could you do to change it, to make it better? Start visualizing what would actually makes you happy and work towards that goal. Give yourself a plan and follow it, reach your objectives weekly, monthly until you get what you want.
  • Have you noticed, how when you have a bad day, you start focusing on those two, three things that went wrong, and then everything go wrong. It’s because you put all your attention on it that it keep on getting worst. Instead try to see the positive things and it will get better.

A lot of people underestimate the power of our mind and energy. But we shouldn’t has our mindset/mentality is our strength. It’s what allow us to accomplish our dreams. So, keep dreaming, do your best to reach your goal. I read recently that quote “If you don’t build your dreams, someone will hire you to build theirs” and it summarize everything. Believe in your dream, as cheesy as it sounds it’s my mantra. Believe, plan and work and you will get what you’re dreaming of.

    Merci pour cet article ! Je suis tellement contente que la loi de l’attraction ai fonctionné pour toi 🙂 Les gens sois estime souvent trop ce pouvoir et le prend à la légère. Mais moi j’y crois fort ! Depuis que j’ai commencé à le pratiquer il y a quelques mois ma vie n’est plus la même. Je remarque un réel changement et je vois clairement que l’on peut réaliser ses rêves 🙂 Il ne faut pas se laissé décourager par les autres et d’y croire si l’on veut vraiment que cela se réalise. On a tous le potentiel de réussir, mais pas tous le monde à le pouvoir de savoir comment faire 😉
